good morning eravuglaris nation!! this morning, i woke up from a very vivid dream. my dreams have been a lot more intense since i've gone sober—it's interesting. anyways, this dream incited a story idea. like, i woke up thinking "i have got to write this down." so i did! and i think i'm going to hammer away at it in the future. for right now, i'm feeling sort of... absent-minded, in a way? i'm having some flight of thought, but i can't really properly encapsulate any of them.
it's times like this i'm a little beat up i don't have any money. i'm in an astrological mood today, and spent a good part of the morning reading as many free astrology reports as i could. if anyone is interested, astro.com is a good site for that sort of thing. that being said, they have some paid reports i'm aching to purchase, but that'd just be irresponsible. i'm embarrassed to relay how much i have in my bank account right now, LOL.
i don't have much to get up to today, so i'm thinking it'll be another day of work on this site. i would love to finish the sitemap today, perhaps collect some more stuff for my homepage, and then work on the media portion. again, very rambly. very talkative. but i don't have very many people to talk to at this exact moment—it is only 8am CST as i'm writing this, after all. not too many people up at this time on a saturday. as such, writing this blog shall suffice for right now.
i know it's not good to focus on numbers and stats, but i got 50 page views overnight! this is a good and exciting thing. i didn't even have any tags on my site—i only added them this morning. if you're seeing this entry this early on into the blog's existence, i appreciate you for being here.
okay, enough rambling for this very moment. i'll update some more later, but for now i'm gonna work on the site itself.
it's been several hours, and i managed to truck through getting some of my galleries done on the media tab. you know, i really hate coding galleries LOL. i'm proud of myself for getting it done, though! i completed the art, animatic, and writing galleries. i'll save the rest of them for another time. i think next order of business is to work on the sitemap.
well, the sitemap was pretty smooth-sailing. it was tedious more than anything. i was also able to update the changelog.
i'm feeling kind of coded-out, but i don't really feel like working on anything else. i might make myself lunch. dad went grocery shopping yesterday, so there's plenty of food in the house to eat. i almost want to publish my site changes now, but i think i'll be doing that before i go to bed each night. you may also see i began timestamping my blog updates.
before i go eat, some gentle musing: my dad went to a local exotic pet expo today. my dad is a massive fan of tarantulas, i think he has over 50 at this point. he was mainly just shopping for cork bark. he asked me if i wanted to come with last night, because admittedly, i'm the one who got him into tarantulas (unintentionally). i said no. i feel a little bad, i really should just bite the bullet and join him one of these days. we don't have the best relationship, so maybe it could be some nice bonding time. we'll see. okay! time to eat now.
woke up from a nap about an hour ago. my friend said they'd be free to call to body double, but they haven't gotten back to me in about an hour. i think they fell asleep. oh well! at least i have frankie. i had a lunch comprising of flaming hot cheetos and milk, and with that and a little rest in my system, i think i am ready to conquer coding again. i'm gonna pivot my focus to the system page, i think. ideally, it'll act as a mini sitemap for each alter to make their own page on. the only struggle is to figure out who's front today!!
